The bowling team is rebuilding this year after graduating their entire starting line-up last season. In order to reconstruct the team, four eighth graders joined to round out the team’s roster of ten.

“I’m excited about how quickly these ‘rookies’ have caught on to the skills we are teaching them and look forward to many more years of watching them improve,” said Ms. Hogan.

All of the bowlers are making outstanding progress. Team captain Anna Deason (12) is leading with an average of 143, which puts her in the top ten girls in the division, and Catherine Ferguson (11) and Chloe Schwartz (10) are also reliably strong bowlers. Deason says, “I really do think the team is improving a lot this season, and I’m so, so proud of how far everyone has come since the season started. Even when we lose, I see every bowler putting effort into what she’s doing. Honestly, as long as everyone is trying their best, I consider it a good game.”

The last three games of the bowling team’s regular season are Tuesday, Dec. 3 at All Star Lanes, Thursday, Dec. 5 at Cordova Lanes and Monday, Dec. 9 at All Star Lanes. All games begin at 3:30. Click here for the team’s complete schedule and season results.

It is good to add more and different people with different backgrounds to add to your teams. This diverse team makes you able to get more success. Good to see these graduated people in the team.
