On Tuesday, Jan. 22, Taylor Ann Wilson (12), officially signed to continue her gymnastics career at Centenary College of Louisiana next year.
Taylor Ann has been doing gymnastics for 15 years, and she has been competing at her current gym, Memphis Point Gymnastics, for the past five years. While she has faced a couple major injuries in the past few years, her determination and perseverance have allowed her to overcome these obstacles and reach her goal of continuing gymnastics in college.
In regards to her gymnastic career throughout high school and as she looks to the future, Taylor Ann said, “Even though gymnastics isn’t a St. Mary’s sport, my classmates and teachers have supported me throughout my journey. My hope is for my love of gymnastics to grow stronger while I continue my education.”
While St. Mary’s will miss Taylor Ann’s exciting performances at pep rallies and other events, her teachers and classmates wish her the best of luck as she continues to complete in gymnastics throughout college.
