This week at St. Mary's, we have been celebrating National French Week! Find out more about what this week entails and the positive spread through the school.
The French club celebrated National French Week by spreading joy and crepes. On Monday, students and teachers were greeted with compliments on lockers and classroom doors reminding them how strong, beautiful, kind, and smart they are. These kind notes and compliments are a continuation of the “vous êtes super” (you are super) campaign that swept the French-speaking world last year. Additionally, Madame Bell has greeted many girls in French each morning, whether or not they speak French at all. On Tuesday, the French club hosted a crepe sale and Ginny Bratton (9), a member of the French club, says “crepes are awesome, and the hashtag in French [#vousêtessuper], even though it’s in French, is a good message.”
