Every year, St. Mary’s students and teachers travel for the one week vacation of Spring Break while others take the opportunity to rest their brains and relax at home. The long anticipated and enjoyable week goes by too fast. So now, as we return to our hectic schedules, let’s take a minute to reminisce on all of our spring break adventures.
Hallie Anderson (12) spent the week touring colleges in both Boston, Massachusetts and Columbia, South Carolina hoping to get a step closer in figuring out her future plans. She visited both the University of South Carolina and Northeastern. In Boston, she enjoyed the restaurant Friendly Toast where she found and enjoyed one of her favorite new dishes, cheese stuffed tater tots with honey sriracha glaze.

Mila Sozatkowski (9) spent the week in Miami, Florida hanging out with some of her friends on the beach. She spent a lot of time soaking up the sun, riding around on bikes and exploring the city. As for eating, Mila’s favorite restaurant was Milos, a greek restaurant.

Mia Townsend (11) also spent the week visiting colleges. She traveled to both Baton Rouge and New Orleans visiting Louisiana State University and Tulane. She explored the beautiful city of New Orleans visiting classics like Bourbon Street, Cafe du Monde and the Commander’s Palace. She even got a tarot card reading.

Ainslee Taylor (10) visited Rosemary Beach with a group of her friends - Alexander lafferty (10), Ava and Sofia Jalenak (10), Gabby Smith (10) and Peyton Galik (10). She spent the time hanging out with her friends, riding bikes, spending time on the beach and swimming at the pool. While in Rosemary, she visited the eateries Sugar Shack and La Crema.

Ms. Seebeck spent the week at home planning her wedding, attending her hair appointment and taking her dog to its vet appointments. Like many of us, she just enjoyed having the time to take a break. In addition, her dove hatched two baby doves!

Whether you spent the week traveling to a new and exciting place or relaxing like me, I hope that you had an enjoyable break and wish you luck in the last quarter!
