With fall's arrival, St. Mary's students are getting excited to do fun activities in the colder weather. However, finding local things to do can be difficult.
Going to the Memphis Zoo for Zooboo is an outdoor option to consider. If you want to take fun pictures with your friends, Railgarten and pumpkin patches have cute scenery for fall-vibe photos. Getting pumpkins at the pumpkin patch to carve with your friends while an autumn-themed playlist plays in the background can easily get you in the fall spirit. Memphis Pizza Cafe, Lafayette's Music Room, and Belly Acres are great places for getting some good food with friends. If you and your friends or family want to have a chill night out, the Malco Drive-in allows you to stay warm in your car and socially distant.
If you and your friends want to support your turkeys in athletics and extracurricular activities, following the St. Marys and Turkey Nation Instagram accounts will definitely let you know all about the latest events.
Finding a socially distant spot to study can be difficult at times, but for some of us, studying with other people is more productive. Eating outdoors at Panera is a great place to safely sit, eat, and study with your friends or even by yourself. Having a cute little study picnic with a few of your friends can be a great way to enjoy the last bit of nice weather before it gets too cold. There are many parks that you can go to, including Shelby Farms and Cameron Brown.
Just because the weather is getting a bit colder, does not mean that you can't find something to do outside.
