For years, St. Mary’s English teachers have been working together to offer more choices for students. Lively and engaging discussions about poetry, marginalized voices, faith and doubt, and creative writing have already begun, and the teachers are excited about what else is in store for this year.
In the past few years, it seems as if there has been more opportunity and less judgement surrounding genderfluid fashion. In “Flannel Shirts and Boys in Skirts,” A&E shares ideas and opinions about whether man buns, button-downs, and other traditionally feminine or masculine trends have ever truly “belonged” to a single gender.
This year’s International Dinner, organized by the St. Mary’s Diversity Club, was a fantastic night of dancing, eating cultural foods, and drinking tea. Read more about how the Diversity Club and the International Dinner help show that a diverse student body makes for a more interesting community.
The time to vote for who will be seen on stage at the annual Beale Street Music Fest has rolled back around.
